PALM HARBOR KIWANIS CLUB OFFERS PANCAKE FUND-RAISERS AND SEEKS ADDITIONAL MEMBERS

HAVE GRILL -WILL TRAVEL

For the 11th year in a row, the Palm Harbor Area Kiwanis is getting set to provide its famous fund-raising pancake breakfasts or suppers to help support classroom activities at local schools in Palm harbor and East Lake. We would like to meet with representatives of the schools, as soon as possible, to plan our “Adopt-a-Class” and/or “Partners in Education” fund raiser. In the past ten years we have generated approximately $50,000 for the schools. We supply the pancakes, sausage, butter, syrup, and plates, and most of all, the labor. The sponsoring schools sell the tickets and get to keep all of the proceeds, to be allocated for scholastic needs.

We would like to schedule pancake dinners serving 5 – 7 PM, Monday through Friday, or pancake breakfasts on a Saturday morning. Scheduling will be based on the school’s choice. Early requests are going to get provide schools with their choice of their date.

In the past those schools with the most success in raising money scheduled various activities before or during the breakfast/dinner. Some of those activities included Book Fairs, Carnivals, Entertainment by the Students, and Student Band Recitals.
